110 oz pkgFrozen Mixed Vegetables(cooked and drained)
8ozShredded Cheddar Cheese
110.5 oz canCream of Chicken Soup
¾cupMilk
1½cupsBisquick
⅔cupMilk
12.8 oz canCrispy Fried Onions(Durkee)
1cupChopped Tomatoes(optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 °F
In a greased 9x13 pan, combine or layer cooked chicken, cooked bacon, mixed vegetables, (tomatoes if using them), and about 6 ounces of cheese. (Reserve a little bit of cheese for the topping).
In a small bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and ¾ cup of milk and mix well. Pour over casserole.
If you are like me and a little unsure of those dark meat chicken pieces in Cream of Chicken soup, you can remove them now before you pour the mixture over the casserole.
Cover with tin foil and bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
In a medium bowl - combine 1½ cups Bisquick, ⅔ cup of milk, and half the can of onions.
Drop the Bisquick mixture by spoonfuls to form 6-8 biscuits evenly spaced over the casserole. Bake uncovered 15-20 minutes until the biscuits are light brown.
Top with remaining cheese and fried onions. bake for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and onions are toasted.
