Baked Churros

Imagine something like a Taco Bell cinnamon twist, but it doesn’t cut up the roof of your mouth with the extra crispiness. I give you… baked churros! So not QUITE a churro like you would get at the fair, but close enough for a Taco Tuesday night in! These are best served warm right away, but they do refrigerate nicely and can be zapped in the microwave later. To note: I let the puff pastry thaw for about 30 minutes on the counter top before starting. If it feels too stiff to unfold the pastry, let it sit for a bit longer.
