This side is easy, delicious, and perfect for any time of year! I like to use mini tater tots because I feel like they get a little more “done”, but regular size tater tots will work too. I have, in fact, used shredded hash browns with this recipe and the “crispy crown” potatoes too.
Loaded Mini Tater Tots

Ingredients
- 16 oz Sour Cream
- 3 Tbsp Powdered Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1 3 oz pkg Bacon Bits (I like Hormel "real bacon bits")
- 8 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 28 oz bag Mini Tater Tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Add all ingredients (except the tater tots) in a VERY large bowl. Mix well.
- Add the tater tots and make sure they are coated evenly with the sour cream mixture.
- Add the mixture to a greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are just a little bit brown. Enjoy!
